The Crow and the Pitcher
A very thirsty crow came upon a pitcher and he flew toward it delightedly.
But he noticed that only very little water left in the pitcher and that he could not reach far enough down to get the water with his beak.
He tried every idea came in his mind.
But he failed in spite of his great effort.
Even so, the crow did not give up to get the water.
“ I should think and think. I never give up. There should be something… Oh, here comes an idea!”
He was hit on a good idea. He collected as many pebbles as he could and he dropped over the pitcher’s brim one by one with his beak.
The water mounted up as he dropped a pebble, and at last, he was able to reach the water with his beak.
He could quench his thirst and saved his life because he did not give up.
It is said “Necessity is the mother of invention”.
No matter how hard it is, you will succeed if you keep on trying.
