　しごと で たび に でた ひとたち が、かため の つぶれた カラス に であい ました。
　There were people who were on a business trip, and they saw a one-eyed crow.

　みんな が その カラス の ほう を みて いると、なか の ひとり が いいました。
　While looking at the crow, one of them said,

「たび を つづける のは やめて、ひきかえそうよ。
”We might as well stop the trip, and head back.

　あの カラス は、ぼくたち に そういう おつげ を する ため に あらわれた に ちがいない から」
　That crow must have appeared in order to let us know we should be heading back.”

　すると、べつ の ひとり が、
　However, another one said,

「あの カラス が、ぼくたち の み に これから おこる こと を よげん できる はず は ないよ。
”There's no way that crow can predict what'll be awaiting ahead of us

　だって あいつ は、じぶん の かため が つぶれる きけん さえ、さける こと ができなかった の だもの」
　because that crow couldn't predict the incident that made one of his eyes blind.”



　この よう に にんげん でも、じぶんじしん に かかわる こと さえ わからない ひと は、
　This story tells us that people who are not aware of what is going to happen even to themselves

　たにん に ちゅうこく する しかく は ありません。
　do not have the credentials to give advice to others.
