　りょうけん が ウサギ を つかまえて、
　A hunting dog caught a rabbit,

　ちょっと かんで みたり、くち の まわり を なめて みたり して、おもちゃ に していました。
　and then the dog played with the rabbit by biting it a bit and licking around its mouth.

　ウサギ は、たまりかねて いいました。
　The rabbit eventually said to the dog,

「やい。
“Hey!

　かむ のを やめるか、キス する のを やめるか、どっちか に してくれよ。
　You've got to decide whether you bite me or kiss me

　おまえ が てき か みかた か、はっきり しりたい から」
　because I want to know whether you are my enemy or my friend.”

　たいど の ハッキリ しない ひと は、ひと に きらわれます。
　People who sit on the fence tend to fall into disfavor.
