The Tuna and The Dolphin
(Aesop’s Fables)
Translation ちいさな翻訳屋さん
Japanese ←→ Japanese & English ←→ English
A tune that was being chased by a dolphin was swimming away desperately.
However, the dolphin was coming closer and closer, and was almost catching up with the tuna.
The tuna haphazardly jumped off water, and he landed onto the shore accidentally.
Subsequently, the dolphin
also landed onto the shore at full speed after the tuna.
Then the tuna said by looking at the dolphin dying on the shore,
”I don't feel sad about dying
because the one that was trying to kill me faces the same fate.”
