There was a man lost his way.
He found a boy walking the street, went up to him and asked, “Excuse me, I’m looking for a house of Fukutokuya-Tokuzaemon’s. Do you know where it is? ”
Then the boy said,
“Fukutokuya-Tokuzaemon’s? Well, let me see…,
I’ve heard of the name before. But I’m not quite sure where…”
the boy asked the clerk nearby, “Hey mister, don’t you know where it is?”
Then the clerk answered, “I’m afraid I don’t,
but that name sounds so familiar to me.”
The clerk asked a gentle man on a way, “Uh…sir, haven’t you heard of that name?”
Then the gentle man answered, “Oh, I think I have.
But I don’t remember when…”
He thought for a while but suddenly snapped his fingers and said,
“Yes yes, I remember! That long name is my own!”
