A Quarrel Between a Hand and a Foot

　One day, a hand and a foot had a quarrel.

“You always try to sit on the lap. You are quite annoying,” the foot said.

　So the hand said,

“What are you talking about? Since I am located above you, I’m like your big brother.

　You can’t do your job without hands.”

“Nonsense. Without feet, you can’t even go to work,” the foot talked back.

　Then the hand said,

“If you say so, I must tell you that food is eaten with hands.

　Feet cannot take food to mouth, can they?”

　Not being able to talk back, the foot said,

“… You are right about that.

　But remember.

　Next time I’ll step on dog poop and make you wipe it off!”

　“Oh no, please don’t make me do that!”
