The fishermen and The Stones

Fishermen were pulling up a beach seine.
Because the seine weighed a great deal,
the fishermen said, ”We captured a lot of fish today!”
and they were all very delighted.
However, when they finished pulling up the seine to the shore, they only found a small amount of fish.
Instead of fish, they found plenty of stones, which was why the seine was heavy.
”How pathetic we are!”
The fishermen were biting their lips, but then one old fisherman said to the others,
”Hey! We better stop biting our lips.
It is said that 'Joy is a brother of sorrow.'
We were delighted a while ago, and so it is no wonder that we're having an unpleasant experience now.
But a good thing will surely happen to us soon.”
That is the way things are.
Even if the weather is clear, it sometimes rains all of a sudden, and vice versa.
Therefore, we do not have to feel depressed even if unhappy things happen to us.
