Birds were having discussions to elect their king.
Then a peacock said,
”I'm beautiful, so I'm bound to be a king.”
The birds agreed
to the idea,
so they leaned toward making the peacock a king.
Then a crow cried out,
”Hey, peacock, wait a minute!
If in fact you become a king, and if an eagle attacks us,
how will you protect us?”
”Well..., I'm beautiful...”
”Do you think you can make the eagle go away with your beautiful wings?”
“……”
This story tells us that a leader should have competence to be able to anticipate danger awaiting ahead rather than superficial beauty.
