(Aesop’s Fables)
Translation ちいさな翻訳屋さん

A doctor gave a patient medical treatment.
But the patient died after all.
At the funeral, the doctor said to the crowd who gathered,
”If he had stopped drinking, and had expelled all those bad things by enema, he would have survived.”
Then one of the crowd who heard what the doctor said got angry, and said,:
”Hey you! It's too late to say such a thing now.
It's all useless.
You should have told the patient about that while he could listen.”
This story tell us that we should help our friends when they are in need of help,
and it is wrong to make pretentious statements after going beyond the point of no return.
