The fisherman who splashes water

The fisherman was catching fish in the river.
He netted from this bank to the other one to back up the stream,
and splashed water with a small stone attaching to a rope.
Then, frightened fish tried to escape and got caught in the net
One of neighbors saw what he was doing and complained.
“What do you think you are doing? It gets muddy.
Are you trying to give us dirty water?”
Then, the fisherman replied.
“But, if I try not to dirty this river,
Those who seek to please everybody please nobody.
That’s life.
