　かみさま たち が、みんな けっこん する こと に きめて、それぞれ くじびき で あいて を えらびました。
　All the gods decided to get married, and each chose his partner by drawing lots.

　せんそう の かみ は いちばん おしまい に、くじ を ひく こと に なりました。
　The god of war was the last one to draw lots.

　でも その とき には、らんぼう の めがみ しか のこって いません でした。
　By then, however, the goddess of violence was the only one left.

　しかし せんそう の かみ は らんぼう の めがみ を みて、だいすき に なって よろこん で けっこん しました。
　Fortunately the god of war fell in love with the goddess of violence and married her with pleasure.

　こうして、せんそう の かみ は らんぼう の めがみ が いく ところ には、どこへ でも ついて いく よう に なった の です。
　This is how the god of war started following the goddess of violence everywhere she goes.



　まち の なか でも くに と くに の あいだ でも、らんぼう な おこない が みられる ところ では、かならず せんそう が おこる もの です。
　Whether in town or between countries, wherever violence is found, war would sure to follow.
