　シカ が びょうき に なって、はらっぱ に よこ に なっていました。
　A Deer was sick and was lying on a field.

　みまい に きた けもの が、シカ の まわり に はえていた くさ を みんな たべて しまいました。
　His friends visited him and ate all the grasses around the deer

　まもなく シカ の びょうき は、すっかり なおりました が、
　The deer was able to get well soon, however,

　たべもの が ない ため に たいそう おとろえて しんで しまいました。
　he died in hunger due to lack of food.



　やく に たたない ともだち を たくさん もって いると、
　If you have a lot of useless friends

　たすけて もらえる どころか、かえって ひどいめ に あう もの です。
　you can get hurt rather than get the help you need.
