　ロバ が、ライオン の かわ を かぶりました。
　A donkey wore a lion skin.

　だれ が みても ライオン に みえたので、にんげん も けだもの も こわがって にげました。
　Everybody thought he is a real lion. So both people and animals got scared and kept away from him.

　ところが、そこ に かぜ が さっと ふいてきて、ライオン の かわ を はぎとってしまい、
　But when a gust of wind blew up, it stripped the lion skin and

　ロバ の すがた が むきだし に なりました。
　bared his disguise.

　すると、みんな は いっせい に ロバ に おそいかかって、さんざん に たたきのめしました。
　Then all the people and animals came and clubbed him to death



　なまえ も しられて いない ひと が、ゆうめいじん の まね を する のは やめましょう。
　For people whose name is not known, never try to act like a celebrity.

　わらいもの に され、ひどいめ に あう に きまっています。
　People will laugh at you and you will have a hard time.

　ひと から の おくりもの は、じぶん の み に つかない もの です。
　You will not acquire a borrowed thing.
