A hardworking widow had hired some young women as her maids.

When it was still dark outside in the early morning and rooster crowed,
the female master would wake the maids up and forced them to work.

The maids were always exhausted.

The maids thought, “The reason why we get exhausted is because of the rooster.
It always wakes the master up even before the morning.”
and decided to kill the rooster.
So they carried out this plan and killed the rooster,
but the things got even worse.

It’s because the rooster no longer told the female master the time to wake up,
she came to wake the maids up earlier than before forced them to work.
This story tells you that things you thought would be good sometimes lead to misfortune.
