　長屋(ながや)に住む男が、あるとき医者のところへやってきました。
　One day, a man living in a row house went to see a doctor and said,

「先生、
"Doctor,

　どういうことか、右の足が痛くて、痛くて」
　I don't know why but my leg hurts terribly"

「ふむふむ、きっと、年のせいだろう」
“Let me see... well....it is probably because of your age", the doctor said.

「？？？
"？？？

　・・・でも先生、そりゃあ変ですよ。
"But, doctor, that sounds strange.

　だって左の足も右の足とおない年だが、ちいともい痛みませんから」
　My left leg is the same age as my right leg but it doesn't hurt at all.”, said the man.
